Adam Lambert, Avril Lavigne, Colbie Caillat and Claude Kelly are joining The Hub's latest reality series Majors & Minors. They will serve as mentors (the "majors") to young talent on the upcoming fall series, premiering Friday, Sept. 23. The singers join previously announced artists Brandy, Leona Lewis, Jordin Sparks, Sean Kingston, Mike Posner and OneRepublic's Ryan Tedder. Developed by Evan "Kidd" Bogart, who has written songs for Rihanna and Beyonce, and TV producers Timothy Scott Bogart and Gary A. Randall, Majors & Minors is produced for The Hub by Boardwalk Entertainment Group with Sony's RCA/Jive and BMI. The show searches for the most promising young talent in music, with the winner getting a recording deal and a U.S. tour. and my sister always go together to the movies the first chance we

I saw this movie about surfing, and it was really good. These boys
find this amazing surf spot looking out a window, and the guy ends up
visiting it by himself, and surfs there. The spot gets more popular,
and all of a sudden it's on the cover of magazines and stuff. I
remember a surfer dying there, and no one really expected it because

Im writing a song but I only have some of it and it's not organized I

I chose to do concert band (I play saxophone now but I have experience
with oboe) because the other option was choir. I choose not to sing
(unless I'm in my dorm and youtube is blasting), because I'm
dreadfully out of tune. Sure, I sang in elementary school and kid's
church choir, but I didn't care if I sucked then.

I've discovered in college, that band and choir are connected somehow.
My professor said, "If you can sing it, you can play it." When we warm
up with tuning notes, we have to sing the note, and then play the
note. I can play the note, but I refuse to sing.
Sometimes, he goes around the room and makes us match pitch with
singing. When he pointed to me, I got nervous and refused to open my
mouth. I had to do it, and my singing voice was flat and probably
painful to listen to, and I was embarrassed.
I hear girls describe their singing range, and based off of my
experience, it feels like if you're a girl, you have to sing soprano,
and soprano is high pitched. My voice is deeper in comparison to other
girls I've met, so I have no idea what my range is.

Question #1: How can I get over my embarrassment when it comes to
singing? I've never had the aspirations to be a famous singer, but I
do have a little bit of a performance anxiety with the saxophone.

Question #2: Once I get over this embarrassment with the singing, is
there a way to determine your vocal range? I know I'm definitely NOT a
soprano, maybe somewhere near the middle to low range?
to think about vocal range, I think about what I am in terms of
musical instruments. I definitely not a piccollo (soprano), but I'm
not a tuba (bass). There's female ranges and male ranges, is it
possible for a female to sing with a male range? Or is that determined
from the structure of your vocal chords and it's different based on
gender?

I am trying to find out the artist/title of a song that was playing
during the summer of 2003 (possibly summer 2004). It was on Canadian
radio at the same time as The Ataris "Boys of Summer". I don't recall
much about it, but I believe the lead singer has a gravelly voice
(think Default or Staind) and near the end of the song someone yells
"Look Out Below" in the background (side note: I realize there is a
Closure song by this very name, but this is not the song I am thinking
of).

This particular summer I was camping up near Cultus Lake, and this
song was playing on one of the local stations quite often. For some
reason, I vaguely recall that the the name of the song/artist may
include the letter 'P'... but don't let that mislead you, I could be
(very) wrong!

If anyone has any ideas about what the answer might be, I would be
very grateful to hear your suggestions! If you have any questions,
post them, and I will do my best to give further details.

X-Men: First Class is a 2011 American superhero film directed by Matthew Vaughn. Based on the heroes showing in Marvel Comics, it is a prequel to the X-Men film collection. X-Men: First Class was released on 06 1, 2011 within the British and on 06 three within the Us. The film is about mainly in 1962 in the course of the Cuban Missile Disaster and is targeted on the connection between Professor X and Magneto and then the source of their groups, the X-Men together with the Brotherhood of Mutants. The film superstars James McAvoy as Professor X and Michael Fassbender as Magneto. Different forged people include Kevin Bacon, January Jones, Rose Byrne, Jennifer Lawrence, Zoë Kravitz, Nicholas Hoult and Lucas Till. The film was largely taken in Britain and parts of the us. At a German concentration camp in populated Poland in 1944, researcher Dr. Schmidt observes younger Erik Lensherr bend a metallic gate along with his thoughts when the kid is divided from his mother and father. In a Westchester Region, New York mansion, younger telepath Charles Xavier meets homeless younger form-shifter Raven. In 1962, an adult Lensherr has begun monitoring down original Nazis, with the hope to seek out Schmidt and take payback. In Uk, Oxford University graduate student Xavier is distributing his thesis on mutation; Raven, now his foster sister, stays with him. In Las Vegas, Central intelligence agency agent Moira MacTaggert follows U.S. Army Colonel Hendry in to the Hellfire Team, in which she watches Sebastian Shaw, Emma Frost, and Azazel. After Shaw threatens Hendry, Azazel goes away with the officer; moments later Hendry is within the Warfare Room, advocating that the U.S. put up atomic missiles in Turkey. Shaw later eliminates Hendry, revealing himself as Schmidt and demonstrating the energy-absorbing mutant power that contains de-aged him. MacTaggert, searching for Xavier's advice on mutation, presents him and Raven to the Central intelligence agency, in which they convince Director McCone that mutants really exist and Shaw is a danger. Although McCone refuses to employ the mutants, they're backed via the un-named "Guy in Black Go well with", one other Central intelligence agency management. Xavier tracks Shaw down, arriving in time to halt Lensherr, who had attacked Shaw, via drowning as Shaw runs away. Xavier brings Lensherr to the Central intelligence agency's secret "Division X" office. They meet younger researcher Hank McCoy, a prehensile-footed mutant whom Xavier unexpectedly outs as a mutant. McCoy, creating a relationship with Raven, guarantees her he'll discover a solution to normalize their beauty. In an coming struggle with Shaw, Lensherr takes the helmet for himself, allowing Xavier to immobilize Shaw. Regardless of Xavier's objections, Lensherr eliminates Shaw by making the focus camp coin by his brain. Fearing the mutants, the fleets hearth their rockets at them. In a combat, Xavier maintains Lensherr from destroying the fleets with the rockets, however when MacTaggert shoots at Lensherr, a deflected bullet strikes Xavier within the backbone. Lensherr, remorseful, departs with Mystique, Angel, Riptide and Azazel. A wheelchair-sure Xavier and the mutants return to the mansion, in which he wants to start a school. MacTaggert promises to don't publish his address and they kiss; on the Central intelligence agency shortly after, she reports she has no clear memory of latest events. The movie is where this man builds a time machine and the woman that
he wants to marry gets killed so he tries to go back in time multiple
times to prevent her death but it never works but then something went
wrong with the time machine and he went so far ahead into the future
that the world had ended and he was in the time where the world was
starting up again with new people. HELP!! IT'S KILLING ME!!

Pretty straightforward question I hope.

What song, whenever played, automatically just speaks to you? Whether
it's positively or negatively, which song really hits you the hardest,
and lets your emotions show?

For me, it has to be Alicia Keys' "Pray For Forgiveness." Excuse me
for being a little maudlin here, but every time I play it, it reminds
me of how alone I am most of the time.

This movie is NOT The Neverending Story.. or Narnia. So don't suggest
it. Or I'll punch you across the internet (don't worry, I'll make it
happen..).

Anyways, it was about a kid and his mom move into this big old creepy
house and they have an orange Pomeranian (the dog). Well, the first
night they go to bed in the living room on a couch because his mom
isn't sure about the house or something (because the house is REALLY
creepy). The dog runs off barking into a closet or something, and
disappears. The kid follows, and finds himself in another world, sorta
medieval. They meet this older guy (who I think kinda looks like an
Indian or something). At some point soon after, the Pomeranian is
attacked by a bunch of Dobermans and is almost killed, and the Indian
guy chases them off with fire, then heals the dog with herbs.

That's all I can remember of it, but I know all that is probably in
the first half of the movie..

To actually make it sound interesting. I can only think of describing
what it is, because it depends on the story on the show...like it's
not like a movie, but it's this show that has several different
episodes so...

The only thing I can think of is saying "It's a show that takes place
at a funeral home." That's the only thing I can think of. However it's

In 2199, five years after the Gamilons began an invasion of Earth, the
planet has been ravaged by the aliens' bombs. The remnants of humanity
have fled underground to escape the irradiated surface. One day,
